First Plates

learning the wet plate collodion process. The first plates, that somehow look like an image. But sure - they are still far from perfect. Shot now ~ thirty plates, glass and tintypes, to come to the first modest results. More than 30 plates with bugs and holes, scratches and fog. But the new ones are getting better and better. Some issues with expossure, some with the chemicals. But pouring the plates feels very natural now. I am realy surprised. There is still a long way to go and a lot to develop ;)
